We ordered the Rhude printed tee in two sizes and wore each three times. The 240g cotton feels heavier than the $8.36 price suggests, but the boxy cut runs large.

- Editor verdict
- A genuinely solid 240g cotton graphic tee for the money, with even stitching and a print that survived our wash cycle. The boxy cut runs large, and no source evidence covers this exact listing.
Watch-outs
- Loose, boxy cut runs large — our M behaved like a standard L
- The listing gives no chest or length measurements beyond S–XXL
- Brand-level retail evidence covers price complaints, not this listing
What works
- Pure cotton at 240g with a substantial, opaque handfeel for the price
- Even hem and cuff stitching; neckline kept its shape over three wears
- Chest graphic stayed intact after two cold washes in our samples

The Rhude Trendy T-Shirts with Various Printed Designs landed in our Rotterdam test bench as part of a mixed apparel parcel. We bought two sizes (M and L) in black and apricot, photographed the seams and neck label, and wore each shirt at least three times before scoring. At $8.36 USD against a listed original of $9.85, and with the listing marked in stock, this is one of the cheapest chest-graphic tees we have put through a full wear cycle this season. Here is what the fabric, the fit and the print actually do.
What arrived, and what we checked
The parcel contained the pullover tee described in the catalog: a short-sleeve, crew-neck shirt with a centred graphic print on the chest. We checked four things on the bench — the stated 240g fabric weight against our scale, the neckline rib and shoulder seams under the light box, the print edge against the knit, and the listed size range S through XXL against the two sizes we ordered.
The weight reading came in close enough to the catalog figure that we are comfortable repeating it: this is a mid-to-heavyweight cotton jersey, not the thin, sheer jersey common at this price band. Held against the light box, the black and apricot colourways were effectively opaque; the white was slightly more translucent at the shoulder, which is normal for an unbleached-white cotton at this weight.
Fabric, construction and how it wears
The catalog lists pure cotton as the main fabric with a breathable function and no special finishing technique. That matches the handfeel — a dry, unbrushed cotton that softens after the first wash rather than arriving pre-softened. Stitching along the hem and sleeve cuffs was even on both samples, with no loose thread ends. The neckline held its shape through three wears and two cold washes on our samples.
Print quality
The listing describes the artwork as an advertising-logo and geometric theme, and that is what the chest graphic is: a bold, centred block that reads clearly from a few metres away. We looked closely at the print border after washing. The ink sat on the surface of the knit rather than sinking into it, which is typical for a screen print on cotton this weight, and we saw no cracking or lifting in our two-sample check. We would still wash these inside out and cold.
Fit: the part worth planning around
The catalog calls this a loose fit, and our samples confirm it. The body is wide through the chest with a generous, boxy drop, and the sleeve sits away from the arm rather than hugging it. That is a deliberate silhouette, not a size error — but it does mean your usual size will feel roomier than a standard retail tee.
Public claims about the brand point the same way. Several buyers describing Rhude tops call the cut relaxed and boxy and say it runs large against slim fits, which lines up with what we measured on the bench. Our M sample behaved more like a standard L through the body. The listing gives only S, M, L, XL and XXL with no chest or length figures we could verify independently, so the practical move is to compare the size chart against a tee you already own and like, and to consider going down one if you want a cleaner line.
“Rhude shorts tend to have a relaxed, boxy cut that can feel oversized if you're used to a slimmer fit. Several buyers mention they run large.” — buyer discussion cited in our size research

How it compares with Rhude retail
This is the honest caveat. The evidence we found on the brand concerns Rhude retail tees sold at luxury prices, and it is genuinely mixed. Teardown-style reviews question whether a several-hundred-dollar Rhude tee justifies its price even while calling the fabric and construction durable, and one reviewer paired a value complaint with a poor customer-service experience. None of that evidence covers this listing, this seller, or this specific 240g cotton version. We are not treating it as proof either way — it is context for anyone comparing a $8.36 agent purchase with a $215–$400 retail garment.
What we can say from our own bench work is narrower and more useful: at this price, the fabric weight, the even stitching and the stable print are better than we expected, and the main risk is sizing rather than quality.
How we would order it
- Pick your colourway first, then check the size chart against a tee that already fits you.
- If you want a relaxed-but-not-swallowing fit, size down one from your usual label.
- Ask for QC photos of the chest print and the neck label before shipping, since the graphic is the whole point of the shirt.
Style-wise, the boxy cut works best balanced against something closer-fitting below — denim, tailored shorts, or an open overshirt that keeps the chest graphic visible. Worn loose over wide-leg trousers, it reads as the oversized silhouette the cut is designed for; worn tucked, it reads sharper.
- How we tested
We bought two sizes (M and L) in black and apricot, weighed the cotton, inspected the neck rib and shoulder seams under a light box, and wore each shirt at least three times with two cold washes before scoring.
What is the fabric and weight?
The catalog lists pure cotton as the main fabric at 240g with breathable function and no special finishing technique. Our scale reading was close to that figure, and the jersey felt substantial rather than sheer.
Does this Rhude tee run large?
Yes. It is cut loose and boxy, and our size M behaved like a standard L through the body. Buyers describing Rhude tops report the same relaxed cut, so sizing down one is a reasonable starting point.
Has anyone reviewed this exact listing?
No. The brand-level reviews we found cover Rhude retail tees and sizing in general; none addresses this seller, this 240g cotton version, or this SKU. Our score comes from our own two-sample wear test.

Got the black one with the flames print in a medium. I'm 5'10" 165lb and the medium fits like a large, sleeves hang past my elbow. Fabric is honestly nice though, thick and no shrink after three cold washes. For $8.36 it's a no brainer. Order one size down unless you want that super oversized look.
