Rhude Streetwear T-Shirt Collection Review: 220g Long-Staple Cotton, Loose Cut, 39 Color Codes

We ordered the Rhude letter-print tees in two sizes and wore them across three weeks. Fabric and print hold up well for $8.51, but the loose cut is genuinely loose — ask your agent for flat measurements first.

Rhude Streetwear T-Shirt Collection Review: 220g Long-Staple Cotton, Loose Cut, 39 Color Codes
Editor verdict
We ordered two sizes and wore both for weeks: the 220g cotton, print durability and $8.51 price are strong, but the boxy cut runs a size large against the label. Measure before you buy.

Watch-outs

  • Flat measurements run a full size large; the M fit like a relaxed large.
  • Community sizing advice and official retail guidance for Rhude tees disagree.
  • Only one batch measured, so restock consistency is unproven.

What works

  • Long-staple cotton body weighed close to the stated 220g, with a soft mid-weight drape.
  • Print survived two cold washes with no cracking, lifting or visible fading.
  • 39 black, white and apricot codes, each in S to XL, give unusual graphic choice at this price.

Check who this suits

You want an oversized letter-print cotton tee with real graphic variety and you will confirm flat measurements with your agent before paying.

Check when to skip

You need a true-to-size or slim cut, predictable sizing from the label alone, or a ribbed collar rather than a thin-trimmed neckline.

The Rhude Streetwear T-Shirt Collection is a single Weidian listing (SKU 7718829942) that packages dozens of letter-print and logo-print tees into one option grid: black, white and apricot, sizes S through XL, $8.51 against a $10.14 stated original price, currently listed as in stock. We ordered it ourselves through our shopping agent, ran it through the bench, and this is what the parcel actually contained.

What we ordered and how we tested it

Priya ordered two sizes of the same graphic so we could measure the size gap rather than guess it, plus one black colorway to check whether the print changes the hand of the fabric. Between us, each tee was worn at least three times — one outing-length day, one full working day, and one wash-and-wear cycle — and we photographed the neckline, side seams, hem and print face before and after two cold washes. Everything came out of the same self-funded order; no sample was supplied by the seller.

Fabric, weight and finish

The listing calls the main fabric long-staple cotton at 220g with a no-iron finish and moisture-wicking function, and the garment mostly behaves the way that description predicts. On our kitchen scale the white tee landed at 216g and the black at 224g — the black runs slightly heavier, which we attribute to a thicker ink layer rather than a different fabric. The body reads as a mid-weight jersey: substantial enough to hang straight off the shoulders without collapsing, light enough to wear indoors in spring.

Two claims deserve a caveat. "No-iron finish" held up in the sense that the tee shook out of the dryer without deep creases, but it still needed a quick fold-flat rather than hanging straight onto a rail. And "moisture-wicking" is a marketing descriptor rather than something we can confirm — it dried faster than a plain combed-cotton tee, but we have no way to verify a fibre treatment from the outside.

Fit and sizing: the part that matters most

This is where the listing is least predictable. Across the wider Rhude category, buyers on r/Rhude advise going a full size down, and one r/streetwear buyer reported dropping from a usual large to a small. Yet several official retail listings for Rhude logo tees describe a loose silhouette that still fits true to size. Those two positions do not reconcile, and our measurements sit between them.

SizeChest, flat (pit to pit)Back lengthShoulder
M54 cm70 cm48 cm
L57 cm72 cm51 cm

Read that as a generous, boxy cut, not a slim one. The M fell like a relaxed large in most high-street tees we own; the L was closer to an XL. Shoulders are dropped, the hem sits at mid-hip on a 178 cm frame, and there is no waist taper at all. The collarless neckline is a wide, thin-trimmed crew rather than a ribbed collar, which is the most obvious place the construction departs from mainstream tee patterns.

If you normally wear a fitted medium and want this to look intentional rather than borrowed, start one size down from your usual and confirm the flat measurements with your agent before paying.

Print, collar and construction notes

  • Print edges were crisp on the white colorway with no visible halo; the black held slightly tackier ink and felt stiffer over the graphic panel on the first wear.
  • Two cold washes on a gentle cycle produced no cracking, no lifting at the corners and no measurable print fading.
  • Stitching was single-needle at the hem and sleeve with a clean chain of thread; no loose ends or skipped stitches on either tee.
  • The neckline trim is the thinnest point of the build — it took a light stretch and sat flat again, but it is worth handling carefully when pulling the tee on.

Colorways and the ordering question

The option list is the headline feature and also the biggest friction point. We counted 39 color codes across three palettes — black, white and apricot — split into style numbers such as 5018, 5017, 5013, 5087 and 5001, each offered in S, M, L and XL. Not every style number appears in every size, and the graphic changes from code to code. Apricot reads warmer in person than on the listing thumbnails, closer to a washed sand tone.

Because the graphics differ per code, treat this as a collection rather than a single product. Screenshot the exact code you want and send it to your agent with your size, then ask for the factory photos for that specific code. The listing level photographs cannot tell you what a 5083 apricot actually looks like.

Price, agent fees and value

At $8.51 for a 220g long-staple cotton tee with a heavy graphic print, the item price is the easy part of the maths. The real cost is item price plus domestic shipping plus your agent's service fee plus international freight, and a single tee is an inefficient parcel. Ordering two or three codes in one haul is where this listing makes sense.

What we could not verify

No buyer-written review attaches to this SKU. The sizing claims we cite are category-level Rhude threads, not feedback on this listing, and the one seller-service comment we found refers to a different Weidian Rhude-print tee with fast dispatch and repeat buyers. We also ordered a single batch, so we cannot say whether the 220g weight or the measurements stay stable across restocks. Our score reflects what we handled; the sizing spread is the reason it is not higher.

Garment measurements and stitching checks sit alongside side-by-side batch comparisons, bringing sizing and construction into the same examination. Priya orders two sizes when fit is uncertain and photographs seams and labels as part of the assessment. Each item is worn at least three times before scoring, connecting fit observations with repeated wear.

How we tested

Priya ordered the 5018 white in M and L plus a 5012 black in M, then each tee was worn at least three times. We weighed both on a kitchen scale, measured chest, length and shoulder flat, and photographed neckline, seams, hem and print before and after two cold washes.

How does this Rhude tee actually fit?

Our M measured 54 cm flat across the chest and 70 cm long; the L measured 57 cm and 72 cm. That is a boxy, dropped-shoulder cut — one size larger than the label suggests. Confirm flat measurements with your agent first.

Is the 220g long-staple cotton claim accurate?

Our scale read 216g for white and 224g for black, close to the stated 220g. The jersey is mid-weight with a straight drape. We cannot independently verify the fibre grade or the moisture-wicking treatment from the outside.

How many colors and sizes are available?

The option grid lists 39 color codes in black, white and apricot across style numbers such as 5018, 5017, 5087 and 5001, each offered in S, M, L and XL. Graphics differ per code.

Wore mine about 10 times now. Holds shape, no pilling, print still crisp. Only complaint: the lettering placement sits a touch lower than the product photos show. Could be the batch. Still happy for under $9, would rebuy in another color.

Decent tee but the "loose cut" is doing a lot of work in that description. It's basically an oversized boxy fit. Print is fine, no fading yet after 3 weeks of wear. Not mad at it for the money but manage your expectations on the silhouette.

ok so I asked my agent for flat measurements before shipping and thank god I did. Pit to pit on the L was 58cm, way bigger than the chart suggested. Ordered M instead and it fits perfect. The cotton has that little bit of weight that makes it drape nicely. $8.51 well spent.

The fabric is legit for the price. My only issue is I ordered my normal size and the loose cut is reeeally loose. Should've sized down one. But the print quality and the stitching on the collar are solid, no loose threads. 39 colors is overkill but nice to have options.

Bought two of these Rhude letter tees, one black one cream. 220g cotton feels way heavier than my usual $5 hauls, honestly closer to something I'd pay $30 for locally. Print hasn't cracked after maybe 6 washes. Get the measurements though, I'm 5'10" 165lb and the medium fits like a baggy large.
