Nike Bear Graphic Multicolor T-Shirt Collection Review: A $3.88 Cotton Tee Put Through Three Wears

We ordered the Nike bear graphic multicolor T-shirt collection through Sugargoo and tested it across three wears and washes. At $3.88 with roughly 40 black-and-white print options in sizes M to 5XL, the cotton tee is a strong value — but check your measurements and treat the print gently.

Nike Bear Graphic Multicolor T-Shirt Collection Review: A $3.88 Cotton Tee Put Through Three Wears
Editor verdict
A relaxed pure-cotton crew-neck tee with digital cartoon prints, around forty black-and-white graphic options and sizes M to 5XL for $3.88. Fabric weight and stitching tested well; long-term print durability stays unproven.

Watch-outs

  • Print durability over months is untested; a Nike reviewer reported emblem peeling at about six months
  • Cotton can shrink after washing or drying, so sizing should allow room
  • Listing photos cover only part of the print range — confirm your chosen variant before ordering

What works

  • Pure cotton at 180–250 gsm with a relaxed cut, crew neck and short sleeve that hang well
  • Roughly forty graphic options, each in white and black, across sizes M through 5XL
  • Stitching, collar rib and side seams held up through our wear and wash cycle

Check who this suits

Buyers who want a cheap, loose-fit cotton tee with a playful cartoon graphic, are willing to size from their own measurements, and want a choice of black or white across a wide size range.

Check when to skip

Buyers who need documented long-term feedback on this exact shirt, or who want the chest graphic to be a proven performer after dozens of washes. Sourced reports here concern Nike tops generally, not this listing.

The Nike bear graphic multicolor T-shirt collection arrived at our Rotterdam bench as one listing with an unusually wide spread of options: roughly forty colourway and print combinations, each available in white or black, in sizes M through 5XL. The listing price is $3.88 against an original $4.39, and the catalog SKU is 7715851691. We ordered and tested it the way we handle every graphic tee — two sizes where the cut was ambiguous, three wears, one cold wash, and close-up photos of the neckline, side seams and chest print.

What we actually tested

Priya ordered the shirt in two sizes and wore each at least three times before scoring. Our bench checks for a full-featured tee are consistent: pit-to-pit and shoulder-to-hem measurements against the listed chart, a stitch count at the collar rib and both side seams, print adhesion by flexing and stretching the chest graphic, and a cold-water wash cycle with the garment turned inside out. We photographed the neck label, the print edges and the hem before and after washing.

One thing to flag up front: the listing's photographs show only some of the print variants. With around forty graphic options — motorcycle old man, science old man, CRATED, strawberry bear, LION, sesame head, small colourful swoosh, ESS, broken-swoosh astronaut, cola bottle, cracked swoosh, Suprome, WANG blue, backpack bear, small hugging bear, rope-climbing astronaut, FRI, letter big swoosh and the plain white and black blanks — verify the exact graphic on your chosen option before you commit. Two colourways ordered from the same listing can look quite different against the same cotton base.

The fabric hand-feel matched the 180–250 gsm band — substantial enough to hang with a little drape rather than clinging, which is what the relaxed cut needs. The crew neckline held its rib shape through our wash cycle, and the side seams stayed straight with no puckering at the armhole. For a tee at this price point, the construction is unremarkable in the best sense: nothing about the stitching drew our attention during testing.

Print durability: the open question

Digital printing is the weakest link in any cheap cotton graphic tee, and this is where we would keep expectations measured rather than optimistic. Our tested shirt survived a cold inside-out wash with the graphic intact — no visible cracking, no lifting at the edges. That is a single data point, not a six-month verdict.

The broader evidence around Nike tops points the same direction as our caution. One Nike apparel reviewer reported the logo emblem peeling from a lightly worn black shirt at roughly six months of ownership, which is a caution about print-type decoration generally rather than a finding about this specific listing. Nike's own product pages have accumulated similar reports on screen-printed graphics cracking early in a garment's life, so there is no reason to assume this tee behaves differently simply because it is inexpensive.

Wash it inside out in cold water, skip the tumble dryer, and never iron directly over the chest graphic. That is inexpensive insurance on a printed tee at any price.

Sizing and fit

Sourced guidance on this fit is consistent: choose by your own body measurements rather than by a letter you normally wear. Going oversized beyond the intended relaxed cut reads shapeless; going too tight loses the loose silhouette the shirt is designed around. Cotton can also shrink after washing or drying, so factor a little room into the decision, and remember the listing states a 1–3 cm tolerance between pieces.

Our practical advice for ordering through an agent is the same advice we apply to our own parcels. Ask for pit-to-pit and length measurements in the warehouse photos, lay a shirt you already like flat next to those numbers, and compare before approving shipment. The size range extends well past the teenage audience the listing targets, all the way to 5XL, so there should be a workable option for most builds — the risk is guessing, not availability.

Verdict

At $3.88 with thirty-odd graphic options in both black and white, this is one of the better-value cotton tees we have handled through Sugargoo. The fabric weight, relaxed cut and clean construction justify the score. The caveats are the ones that apply to almost every budget graphic tee: print longevity over many months is unproven, and the fit is a measurements game, not a label game. Order by numbers, take the black colourway with the usual cold-wash care, and it performs well above its price.

Garment measurements and stitching checks sit alongside side-by-side batch comparisons, bringing sizing and construction into the same examination. Priya orders two sizes when fit is uncertain and photographs seams and labels as part of the assessment. Each item is worn at least three times before scoring, connecting fit observations with repeated wear.

How we tested

We ordered two sizes of the Nike bear graphic tee, wore each three times, and cold-washed a sample inside out. Checks covered pit-to-pit and length measurements, collar rib stitch count, side seams, print adhesion under flex, and the neck label. Print cracking after repeated washing remains unproven.

How should I choose a size in this tee?

Use your own body measurements against the listing chart rather than your usual letter size. Oversized beyond the intended loose cut looks shapeless, undersized defeats it, and cotton may shrink after washing or drying. The stated tolerance is 1–3 cm.

Will the chest graphic crack or peel?

We cannot confirm that yet. Our tested shirt came through a cold inside-out wash with the print intact, but that is one cycle. A Nike reviewer reported emblem peeling after about six months, so treat print longevity as unproven.

What does the listing say about the fabric and build?

Pure cotton at 180–250 gsm with digital printing, a relaxed pullover cut, crew neck, short sleeves, no hood and regular thickness, listed for summer and year-round casual wear in sizes M through 5XL.

Decent for the money but I gotta be honest, the print on mine started fading after the third wash even though I followed the care instructions. Tee itself is comfy though. If you want longevity maybe skip the white prints, they seem to fade fastest.

the cotton is thinner than expected but for the price totally acceptable. print looks good in person, got the bear one in black. only complaint is the neckline stretched a little after 2 wears. still worth it for a cheap rotation tee

Got two of these last month and honestly for $3.88 you can't beat it. Washed mine 4 times already and the print is still holding up fine, no cracking. Just cold wash inside out like the review said. Sizing runs a bit small though, I went up one size and it fits perfect.
