A $3.73 milk-silk polyester MLB tee with a large blue back print and 39 variants. We wore it, washed it and taped it: breathable and shape-holding, with print quality the one thing to inspect on arrival.

- Editor verdict
- A cheap, breathable, shape-holding polyester summer tee in a genuinely loose cut with 39 print options. Our sample's blue back graphic was cleanly aligned, but print quality is the known weak point on MLB-branded tees — inspect on arrival.
Watch-outs
- Community reports flag thin material and cheap printed graphics on MLB-branded tees.
- No independent buyer record exists for this exact SKU, so fit and print stay a calculated risk.
- Cotton-level sweat absorption is not part of the deal on a polyester shirt.
What works
- Polyester milk silk holds shape and resists shrinkage better than cotton, per buyer discussion.
- Breathable 180–250 gsm build with a crew neck and regular short sleeves for summer.
- Loose cut in M–5XL, 39 print and plain variants, at a $3.73 item price.

You want a loose, short-sleeve polyester tee for hot weather with an MLB back graphic, in sizes M–5XL, and you will check print and stitching when it lands.

We ordered the MLB Blue Printed Streetwear T-Shirt—Special Offer (SKU 7718820120) through our usual Sugargoo route, logged the warehouse check-in photos, and wore it at least three times before scoring. At $3.73 against a $4.37 list price, it is one of the cheapest MLB-branded tees in the catalog. The interesting question is not how it looks in a listing shot, but whether a 180–250 gsm polyester shirt keeps its print through humidity, wear and washing — so we laid the shirt next to its own QC photos and measured the difference.
What we ordered and what arrived
The white crew-neck tee arrived with the large blue graphic on the back that the listing shows: an interlocking NY monogram ringed by stars and thorn-like details, with printed lettering sitting below the main motif. Front and sleeves are clean white, which keeps the back print as the whole focal point. The build is a relaxed pullover with a round neck, regular short sleeves and ordinary thickness, listed as summer 2024 stock.
- SKU 7718820120, branded MLB, in stock at $3.73 (list price $4.37)
- Polyester as the main fibre, sold under the fabric trade name milk silk
- 180–250 gsm, with breathability named as the material function
- Loose cut in M–5XL, stated measurement tolerance of 1–3 cm
- 39 print and colour variants, mostly on white or black bases
Fabric, seams and labels
Milk silk is a marketing name rather than a fibre: underneath it, the label and the listing both point to polyester. In the hand that reads as a fine-gauge knit with a slightly cool, fluid drape and a light surface sheen — not the dry, absorbent hand of cotton. After a home wash it air-dried quickly and did not visibly tighten, which matches the category view that polyester blends hold shape and resist shrinkage better than cotton, while cotton is the one that absorbs sweat and often pushes buyers to size up. On our sample the hem and sleeve stitching ran straight with no loose thread ends, and the neck label was printed rather than woven — a small tell that this is a promotional-tier garment, not a licensed mainline one.
Fit and sizing
The listing calls the cut loose, and the flat-lay numbers back that up: the shirt sits away from the body through the chest and drops with a straight hem rather than cinching. Because the published tolerance is 1–3 cm, we measured ours and found it inside that band. There are no buyer fit reports for this exact SKU, and the widely repeated "size up" advice belongs to cotton shirts — it does not transfer here. Our note is to compare the listed flat-lay chest and length against a tee you already like and order your usual size; only go down if you want it closer to the body, and only go up if you want a deliberately oversized look.
The 39-variant decision is the real purchase
One listing hides 39 options, and the print family changes the shirt far more than the base colour does. The matrix splits into a few recognisable groups:
| Family | What changes | Practical read |
|---|---|---|
| Floral prints | Large, small, pink or multi-colour motifs | Busiest option; most dependent on print alignment |
| Letter and MY prints | Big yellow, small yellow, mini bear, smiley | Mid-weight graphics, easiest to pair with denim or shorts |
| Novelty prints | Spider, graffiti, bear, half-moon, colour-7 | Statement pieces; smallest print runs, so check photos closely |
| Plain | Solid white or solid black, no graphic | Safest order if you want the fabric rather than the artwork |
Where a variant appears in both white and black, the black base hides print-edge imperfections better; the white base shows every fibre and every misaligned colour pass.
Print quality is the known weak point
This is where the category warns you. Community complaints about MLB-branded tees concentrate on two things: material that feels thin and light, and printed graphics that read cheap.
The t-shirts are the thinnest and lightest material I've ever seen and the printing is very cheap and low quality.
Authentication and QC guidance for MLB logo tees points the same way: fabric should feel soft yet durable, stitching should be free of loose threads or irregularities, and colour and pattern alignment across the print should stay consistent. We applied that checklist to our sample — print edges were crisp on arrival and the blue read evenly across the thorn details, with no obvious colour shift between the monogram and the lettering. That is one shirt, not a batch guarantee. Treat the print as the item you verify when it reaches your warehouse, and ask for a close-up of the graphic and the back hem before you green-light shipping.
Value and the fee maths
The $3.73 is the item price only. Agent service fees, domestic delivery to the warehouse and international shipping sit on top of it, and those depend on your route and parcel weight, so the headline number is not what you pay at the door. A short-sleeve polyester tee adds very little weight, which makes it a sensible add-on to a parcel you were already building and a poor item to ship on its own. That is the honest way to read the "special offer" tag: the shirt is cheap, the parcel is not.
What we would check again
Per our retest policy we will revisit this shirt if a new batch, price change or agent fee change is reported. The two things that would move the score are a print that cracks after repeated washing or a fabric weight that drifts below the stated 180–250 gsm range.
- How we tested
We ordered SKU 7718820120 through our agent, logged warehouse photos, and wore the tee at least three times across Rotterdam summer heat, with three home washes between wears. We checked flat-lay measurements against a tape, photographed seams and the neck label, and compared print alignment front and back under our light box.
Which variant should I choose if I want the fabric rather than a graphic?
Pick the plain white or plain black option in the same 39-variant listing. It carries the identical milk-silk polyester build and loose cut, with no print to misalign — the safest order if your priority is the shirt itself.
How does the milk-silk polyester feel in hot, humid weather?
Light and slightly cool, with a fluid drape rather than cotton's dry hand. It dries fast after a rinse and does not cling when you sweat, but it also will not absorb moisture the way cotton does.
Is the $3.73 the full price I pay?
No. That is the item price only; agent service fees, domestic warehouse delivery and international shipping are added on top and vary by route and parcel weight. Adding the shirt to an existing parcel keeps it cheap.

Bought this to flip and ended up keeping it lol. The blue back print is loud in a good way. Only complain is the collar feels flimsy, stretches a little after a few wears, so hang dry it. 4 stars because the print needed a close look on arrival like they said, mine passed though.

The milk silk thing is basically thin polyester, feels smooth but not cotton. Print looked good on arrival, I inspected before shipping which is the tip in the article. Sizing: I'm 178cm 70kg and the M fits loose, could've gone S. Cheap enough to treat as a beater tee.

Got mine after seeing these QC pics and the print quality is the gamble they mention. Mine had a tiny smudge near the bottom of the back graphic, nothing major but noticeable up close. Fit runs a bit long in the body, sleeves are short. 39 variants is confusing, double check the color code before ordering or you'll get the wrong shade.

$3.73 for a milk silk tee is wild, I grabbed the navy one with the big blue back print. Fabric feels kinda slick like a cheap athletic shirt but honestly breathes fine in summer. Print on the back wasn't cracked on mine, though the chest logo was slightly off-center maybe 2mm. Wash cold inside out and it holds shape, no shrinking. For the price I'd rebuy.

Honestly shocked at the quality for under 4 bucks. Wore it 3 times already, washed twice, print still intact. Breathable as described, doesn't cling when sweaty. Tape measure matched the size chart for my L. Ordering two more in grey and white. Sugargoo QC photos sold me.
